I had couple times in past warning lights in my dashboard but was gone before i can check them .My mecanic scan the car and find 10-12 faults codes he clear them and ask me to return when first one will appear . First one was glowing plugs and fault code was ,,P048A00 Passive/Sporadic Exhaust Pressure Control Valve A Stuck Closed and P048800 Passive /Sporadic Exhaust Control Valve Position Sensor/Switch Circuit Mecanic told me he event dont know where this valve is and send me to dealer. I make an appointment and car clear this fault after two trips. After two weeks in intersection waiting on red light when i try to start glowing plug come on and hill assist and tyre pressure and other two warning lights and engine stop When i try to restart all those lights come on and engine stall. Breck dawn car from rac cant help they said its electric issue they tow my car to garage. All guys from garage had no clue what happen They try to scan but sensors don't comunicate thru ECU They check the battery and alternator but everything its ok Now we wait for someone tomorrow to check modules . Now when i switch ignition on all those lights come on before start the engine. Like a mention car engine sometime run sometime not

Welcome to the Audi Owners Club !

Good to have you onboard.

Hello Gabriel,

Sorry to hear of the issues with the car. If this were mine, I would be tempted not to automatically accept that the battery (and alternator) or ‘OK’., and I would want to know:-

(1) By what means did they test the battery, and what were the results.

(2) I would be driving the car to Halfords and getting them to test the battery’s % efficiency.
Only when you have proof positive from both sources, would I be prepared to move on to investigate the more complicated possibilities.
Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Short update. Garage call me this morning to pick me car telling me they can’t fixit and I need to tow the car to other garage. I start the engine and I drive away . No lights in dash car work perfect. (Sorry I don’t had picture whit their faces)🤣🤣🤣 Now I think to done a full electrical check.

Repeating Gabriel, but just take it around to your nearest Halfords store and ask them to check the % battery efficiency, and the alternator output.
If they say your battery is below par, then you have 2 options:-

Pay Halford’s price - or come back to us for recommendations of other suppliers.
Please let us know how you get on.
Kind regards,

Gareth.
