Quad tip diffuser on tdi

Hi has anybody done a quad tip diffuser conversion on a tdi, the right side tip won’t bolt on as the ad blue tank is in the way so wondering if anybody has got around this ? Cheers chris

I don’t think it’s possible without bodging some back box with a bend around the tank.

its probably better to go for a custom central back box with an exhaust tip

Hiya mate , I’ve kinda come up with a few ideas , I’ve cut the back off the tip which will get me closer hopefully I’m only about 20mm away from the hole so I might use some washers and see how it looks , other than that I might try and move the adblue tank a bit and try and refix it , hopefully I can get my car in the unit tomorrow and give it a go 👍

Get some pictures up, interested to see how it takes form. I didn’t think there would be enough clearance and support with our completely relocating the Adblue tank.

if you look at the petrol version back box hangers it becomes clearer how much of a pigs ear it will be to retrofit something in a similar fashion.

Soon as weather pics up I’ll give it a go. It might look alright with washers to pack it off , I’ll get there somehow , and yeah I’ll get some pics when it’s done 🙂👍
