My 2018 SQ5 low brake pad warning light and audible noise comes on after ignition is on, brake pads, discs and sensors changed but no help, no faults showing up when coder plugged in, any help/advice welcome.

Could be an issue with the wire in the brake pad which lets the sensor know when the pad is low. Or the sensor or sensor wiring

Front or backs replaced Ian?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth

The rear pads and discs replaced, the front has plenty of pads left on them, was told only two sensors fitted to this model O/S rear and N/S front, both sensors replaced

Hi Steve

both rear pads and discs replaced and O/S rear and N/S front sensors replaced, (was told that is the only sensors fitted to model) front brakes have plenty of pad left on them.

Many thanks Ian,

A complete stab at it, but any chance this has something to do with having to computer reset?
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Hi,

It could be that the wire into the brake pad has become

dislodged, I had the same problem a while ago.

worth a look.

Brian.
