Bazza1687
Hi everybody, I'm looking at a: AUDI Q5 (FYB) 2.0 TDI quattro Diesel 190 hp / 140 kW 2016 - 2018 DESA This has full Audi service history but I have not seen it yet. Does this model have a timing belt? if so under normal Audi servicing would it have been replaced being 6 years old and 66000miles on the clock. Going to see it tomorrow so hopefully will be in the records but its not a main dealer selling. Looking at shift my A6 to avoid big bill clutch and belt will be due next 12 to 18 months, so don't to have the same bills to pay on the new motor. Thanks Baz
Steve Q
Believe it should be a timing belt which should be chained every 5 years or 120k miles which ever comes first. Audi now claiming the years doesn't matter just 120k however I think that's mad as the belt will perish over time.
