Headlight part number

Can anyone help me with headlight identification please.  When sourcing a light do I just need to use the 4G8 number or does every number on the id label have to match?

The daytime running LED strip has stopped working and it is not control module so unfortunately I need a light.

I believe the Audi part number you want is the 4G8…. number. 
It has been said that the suffice letter on the end - A in your case isn’t significant, but personally I would be reluctant to accept say B, which further guidance.

This is only used one I can find so far so guessing it’s no good then

Looks like this is from an earlier car than yours, and has a different part number, so an unlikely candidate. 
Have you tried registering your ‘want’  with one of the on-line car breaker link systems? Partsfinder is one, but there are others.
