Front end V brace

Hello wonderful people of the world. I would like some advice if possible. 
 

I currently have an Audi a3 8p. I’m in the process of modifying it in various ways, however one thing I’ve always hated about the Audis is the front support brace behind the grill. My car will eventually have a new honeycomb grill installed and have a removable front plate. My question to you all is:  is it possible to remove the front support bar and replace it with a BMW style V brave? (painted to stand out from the grill) because I personally think it looks a 100x nicer and cleaner than the Audi bar. 

if anyone could help on this or knows anyone who could give some advice that would be great. Please don’t tell me it’s a waste of time or it’s a waste of money. It’s my car and I’ll do what I want to it, the only thing I would accept about not doing it is if it makes the car less safe which I can’t really see.
