IMPOSSIBLE TO FIT SIDE STEPS TO A MILD HYBRID Q7 ?

I ve been told by a large side step retailer and fitter that my 2020 Audi Q7 TFSI E  cannot be fitted with sidesteps as it has extra piping / battery parts etc where they would usually be fitted .

 

Anyone had them fitted to a mild hybrid ? 

Im in Manchester but would travel anywhere for fitting.

As a side note, you have to notify your insurance company if fitting them as they're classed as a modification these days.
