Avinash
Hi Guys New to this forum having just bought a 2ltr TDI Avant. Unfortunately the high pressure power steering hose from pump to steering rack is leaking. Would somebody be able to advice where i might get a replacement and what the origlnal part number would be. I can see that i will have to invest in a service manual. What do people suggest? Steve Q
I'd recommend to look on eBay including international sellers.

I have managed to find the part number now. The friendly dealers want £340 for it and TPS a similar amount. Eye watering sums! eBay has no availability at the moment. Part number is 4F2 422 893 BB if anyone can help. Happy to have a look at used at these prices new!

Have you included international sellers in your eBay search? This is what I have to do these days for my A6 C5.
Magnet
Hello Avinash, Buying second hand?? I wouldn’t, even if I could find one. Probable solution:- Do a Google search for local-ish commercial vehicle hydraulic specialists/suppliers. They should be able to point you in the right direction to get one made up. Perhaps you could let us know how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth.
Avinash
I’m afraid I couldn’t find any other UK options so had to pay dealer prices. The car is very seductive to drive but boy do you pay for it!?
Magnet
Failed to get one made up then Avinash? Kind regards, Gareth.

Struggled to find a supplier and in the end ran out of time as I was topping up virtually every day.
