‘Twang’ when turning left or right

Q4 Quattro, 2015 plate.

Noise is described as a ping or a twang- metallic- from underneath rhs. Rumbles from the back but that’s not new. I have to drive several 2-300 mile trips before getting the chance to get into a garage . Could it be a spring or something dangerous?

Sounds like a suspension top mount bearing I had the same on my A2.

Or indeed a broken-near-end spring, which maybe difficult to see without close examination.
