This is weird

2014 A3 TFSI 80K FSH. When I open the door the engine fan starts no key in ignition goes for a while then stops

no fault lights runs fine just weird any thoughts?.

With any odd electrical gremlins I look at the battery as the first port of call. As a failing battery can cause the electrical systems to play up.

My fan keeps coming on too, even a 10 minute drive can put the fan on for 5 minutes or so, doesn't do it everytime though

Came on again after starting engine then goes off after awhile just need to know if I should be concerned or not/

battery is fine.
