Timing off, advice on adjustment needed

Hi All,

First post here. So, firstly, I have an Audi A5 SB S-Line 2016 Diesel 143bph.

Timing belt and water pump recently changed, but am getting coil light flashing, and engine light now and then.

VCDS showing the following:

Cam adjustment intake bank1: Specified- 10.00 degrees

Cam adjustment intake bank 1: actual- 10 degrees.

Cam adaption intake bank 1: - Phase -13.12 degrees.

Cam adjustment intake bank 1: activation- 6.250%

I am fairly clear the timing is off, my question is, based on the above, is there any way of telling if cam, crank or other is off?

Essentially I am faced with off timing, all I want to figure out, excluding the marks on the cam, pressure pump and crank, do the vcds readings give an idea of what exactly is off?

Hope that all makes sense, any questions just ask, and thanks all,

Chris

If you've had the work done then I'd take it back to the garage that did the work. If you bought it like this then I'd definitely be getting the timing checked properly before considering sensors etc.
