Fabio Vieira
Hello everybody. Yesterday I was going for a ride in my Audi A8 and the car wouldn't start, I noticed a yellow light on the instrument panel, according to the manual there would be traction control (ASR). The i connect my Ross Tech cable and VCDS to try to see the error codes, to my surprise the VCDS doesn't detect my ECU, which means it must be a faulty ECU. I have another ECU to try it from an Audi A6 with the same engine and same year, but I know it is necessary to reprogram it due to the immobilizer. To do this I need to have the pin code of both ECU's, does anyone know how I can read the PIN Code for both ECUs? Or if anyone has had this problem and it wouldn't really be the ECU?
