Michael P Armstrong Posted June 19 Share Posted June 19 Hi guys, I'd be interested if anyone else has suffered a transmission shudder. Observation of vibration and noise very similar to driving over a cattle grid. It occurs when under load, up hills and when towing. If the situation persists, so does the condition every 3 to 5 seconds. The condition is not apparent on flat ground or going down hill. I followed a suggested procedure to reset memory o remove store data, this had a slight affect but didn't resolve the issue. I also not, that the condition does not appear for the first section of a long trip, but after stopping and resuming the journey the condition appears immediately. To save us having to ask lots of preliminary questions it would help if completed your profile with Audi model, version, engine, year, and your approximate location.
