Front fog lights flashing with indicators

Hi guys 

can anyone help please 

I’ve recently purchased an a3 2015

When I put the indicators on the front fog lights also flash ( out of sequence)

 

how can I turn this off please

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up but could be an issue with the headlight switch or hazard switch.

It could be a bad earth connection at one of the light units. Such faults can be difficult to find and correct unless you have experience of car electrical systems.

I think it’s more something they have programmed it to do 😞

Hi its definitely a bad earth or a short to ground, best thing to do is get the car scanned for faults which will pinpoint where its going wrong.
