Hi guys,

Why would both sidelights not work on an A3,2017, non-S Line.

Main beam, and high beam work OK, just the sidelights dont work.

Could it be fuse? Bulbs look OK on visual inspection.

Where is the fuse box and and what number fuse would it be?

Thanks.

Could be the light switch itself. Id recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up

If I recall correctly each sidelight has a separate fuse, so the problem is more likely to be the switch.

Fuse and fusebox locations will be in the car handbook if such things exist still.

I found the fuse box, but for the life of me couldn't work out which fuses to check.

It's the bulbs in this picture that isn't working (both sides).

That is the sidelight bulb, right?

I think I confused myself somewhat, being a total Audi rookie.

So the sidelights are apparently the DRL's, and the bulb I was querying is run by some weird switch for rain lighting?????

So did you get the sidelights to work?

I've never heard of rain lighting. Can you explain further?

I am new to A3's, so this is the button I refer to....

Apparently, the button you've indicated applies only to cars with LED headlights.

Interested, thanks Steve. So do I just put them on during night and rain?

I don't have LED headlights, and my button therefore doesn't do anything, so I can't really help you.

I just quoted the relevant passage from my handbook.

If you have LED headlights, I guess you could experiment to see what they do.
