Klevi Posted July 25 Posted July 25 I have an audi a4 2012 and I heard an clickling sound when I turn the wheels right or left and acceleration , does anyone have any idea what is it?
Magnet Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Welcome Klevis, Difficult to say without the car, but could be drive shaft/s. Kind regards, Gareth.
cliffcoggin Posted July 25 Posted July 25 Check the CV (constant velocity) joints in the drive shafts. It is likely they are worn.
Klevi Posted July 27 Author Posted July 27 Thanks for replies , But the clicking sound start only if I press the gas pedal
cliffcoggin Posted July 27 Posted July 27 Very possibly. If the CV joints are worn they will click when: 1. The accelerator pedal is pressed (only Americans call it a gas pedal). 2. When the accelerator pedal is released quickly at speed. 3. When the steering wheel is turned to, or close to, full lock. Of course the noise may be caused by something else, but it makes sense to check the most likely fault first, so look at the CV joints and let us know what you find. 1

cliffcoggin Posted July 28 Posted July 28 No apologies needed. Your English is infinitely better than my Albanian.
