grahamm Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 A couple of weeks ago one of my fobs asked to have the battery replaced, so I did but the message keeps coming up when I start the car. This week the other fob asked for a new battery which I fitted and it still keeps asking for a new battery. Audi garage put in new batteries in both as they thought maybe I had poor, cheap ones but it still did the same. They have it booked in to refresh the connection between fobs and car but does anybody know more about it? Forewarned would be forearmed before it goes in on 2nd August. Magnet Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 Hello Graham, The car is still under warranty so you really shouldn’t concern yourself about the whys and wherefores, but just concentrate on ensuring they fix the problem properly. If it were mine, I would be sending them an e-mail confirming bringing the car in on the 2nd August to rectify the problem of……….. ( describe it). By doing this, you have a written record of the issue being registered, in the event of recurring problem with it. Kind regards, Gareth.
