Handbrake

hi is there a way I can over ride  my electric handbrake I need to move my car onto my driveway because it’s not releasing it’s self and I’ve got hand brakes fault…. Car is a 12 plate A5 …. Thanks

Is the handbrake really faulty, or is the battery defective?

Hi if you turn the engine on put on the seat belt then put your foot on the brake and push the switch down on the console it should release.
