I had cause to take out the passenger seat of my vehicle to find the source of a water leak which had accumulated in the passenger footwell, this item (seen in the images) fell onto the floor. I have tried Google images with "audi a3 seat components 8p1" and can not see anything that resembles it whatsoever. If a member supplied an image of a passenger seat frame with an arrow pointing to the item I would be pleased. It measures 135mm x 12mm, composed of metal & plastic, finally, it is spring-loaded, on the image "seat unit 2" left-hand side is the spring's location.
