FMOB
How do you stop the mirrors from randomly folding in as you are washing the car? I looked in the manual, worse than useless, not seeing anything on the web either. Just want to avoid getting my fingers crushed while washing the car. I have managed to get them to fold out with the drivers door open, shut the door so you can wash the car and they close again automatically a while later. I have no confidence they wont fold in when I am washing the mirrors and crush my hand or fingers. Any suggestions?
Steve Q
Is there not a setting in the mmi? Or a button near to the electric window controls/mirror adjustment?

Mine certainly do. In fact it’s my way of looking to see if I remembered to lock the car. Been a couple of times I’ve looked a couple of hours after going in the house and they are still open / car not locked. Edited to add - If you are really concerned just turn ’Fold Mirrors’ to OFF in the MMI. Car -> Settings -> Central Locking -> Fold Mirrors Edited August 18 by jammy
