Kamsd Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Hi all I have just brought a 2021 Etron sportback from a non audi dealership. As the Audi 3 warranty has just expired, I was looking into buying the Audi extended warranty from Audi which is around £60 per month. I also noticed that you can buy the Audi all in one plan from Audi Financial services which includes services, MOT's and a warranty for even less at around £40 per month. What was not clear is whether the All in one plan warranty is the same or better or worse than the standalone Audi extended warranty. I have spoken with both departments and neither could give me an answer! Does anyone have experience of the Audi All in one plan and the extended warranty that could help? Many thanks in advance for your help
cliffcoggin Posted August 12 Posted August 12 I have no specific knowledge of those warranties, but in general secondhand car warranties are not worth the paper they are written on. I suggest you look very closely at the exclusions before committing money to any of them. Look too at the relevant section of this forum for your model to see if there are any common faults. Also look at professional reviews, though they tend to be cautious about criticisms.
Magnet Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Very sound advice from Cliff. Only you can do the necessary homework here Kam. Obtain copies of each and give them a good couple of coats of reading. As Cliff says, it’s the exclusions which are the most important aspects. Be knowledgeable that whoever is selling you these warranties is gaining commission from their sales, so it’s little use in listening to the good points. Perhaps you can let us know which one - if either - you go for. Kind regards, Gareth.
