Forbes Milne Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Hi, I have a Audi 100 with a 2 Ltr, non turbo, engine and was wondering if anybody could tell me of a suppler for the fuel injector pipes.
Magnet Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Welcome Forbes, Pardon my ignorance, but are these pipes metal or flexible? If metal, could you give us the outside diameter please. A photo would be great, so we have a better idea of what you need. Why do they need changing? Kind regards, Gareth.
cliffcoggin Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Forbes. Like Gareth I am curious to know what is wrong with the old pipes. However to answer your question, I don't know of any suppliers that stock your pipes, however there are companies who can fabricate new pipes to match the old ones. An internet search should reveal those nearest you.
Forbes Milne Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 hi, thanks for the replies, the pipes are quite badly corroded and are a combination of metal and braided covered flexible pipe and run from the fuel distributor to the fuel injectors. There a eight altogether, 5 for the injectors and 3 that do the cold start
Magnet Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Many thanks Forbes, Search out braided brake hose suppliers/manufacturers and make contact there. Please let us know how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth.
