Graham B
My car suddenly cut out on me and will not start, recent new battery. All ignition lights come on and it turns over but does not fire. Any clues as to where I should investigate ?

Graham B
I’ve plugged my diagnostic tool in but there is no signal from the OBD 2 port, what does this mean

Do you see check engine symbol?
Graham B
I think my OBD port is connected to the same fuse as the amplifier which is blown , also supply to radio is out , the fuse keeps blowing so there must be something wrong in the circuit . Why I ask about check engine light, as it is directly connected to ECU, if it is not illuminated, that mean car is not controlled by ECU , and won't fire up, as ECU have no power. Disconnect amplifier. Replace fuse , see if it is solution.

I think it very unlikely that the same fuse serves the both the non-essential radio and the essential canbus system. You need to refer to a wiring diagram. Graham B
The wiring diagram in my Haynes manual has no reference to fuse 18 in engine bay
