Hi check the connector to the power steering motor as they are prone to corrosion on the pins, then check the wiring from the plug up as far as possible for broken wires, even if you have to remove the loom wrapping its easily replaced, genuine loom tape on eBay is pretty cheap.

It was a battery issue connection was lost to ecu.my scanner is only a cheap one and didn't pick up the fault.
