Hi folks, on my 3 door Audi A3 , 2008 ,  I've got that mystery with reverse light...

It's gone... It comes as warning once switch on ignition.

Light bulb 100% correct and working condition.

Connector off revers switch removed and joined wires in connector with bridge, when ignition on, no light comes up.

Searched in internet, couldn't found definitive answer, anyone have gone through this and may suggest where to find possible fault?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

Ok. 12 volts comes to switch on black with violet line colour wire, when I join the wires on switch, light not comes up. Second wire is blue. That means that blue wire is broken somewhere ... On the way to cluster... Will do test wire to the back.

Ok. Found problem. That wire before cluster was fixed many years ago by myself, used wrong wire, it corroded through...  So just get fix that wire and I'm sorted.... Thanks God nothing more serious 👏
