Wire cut to fix steering lock module now no igntion

I cut the red wire to remove power from the elv as my elv was going crazy when in ignition. I found that method in another forum but after cutting I now have no ignition. After inserting the key it does nothing.

 

The steering wheel was unlocked when I cut the wire and is still unlocked

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but if you lost ignition after cutting a wire why not reconnect it? Audi did not fit wires in their cars without good reason.

Connecting the wire back just gives my initial error of "release load from steering wheel" and the steering lock actuator activating then locking the steering wheel

Usmaan you keep interfering with the wires to do with the ignition, these things are designed to shut you out via the ECU if it thinks its being stolen, why?
