WonkyDonkey1971
Hey folks. Have had the car about 18 months, 110,000 miles. Have had intermittent no crank for last few months. Sometimes starts 1st time other times it's 10+ cycling of the key. No codes. I note that when it's not going to crank the radio and lights aren't interrupted. Is it likely to be ignition switch or should I be looking somewhere else in the electrical system (or somewhere else altogether). Any thoughts would be welcome as I don't fancy writing a blank cheque to someone to trace an intermittent fault if I can help it!
Steve Q
Do you get any tickets when turning the key, ie starter motor trying to start it? Could it be crank position sensors? Cam sensors? Or an imobiliser issue?
