Epc light

Hi my epc light is on I haven’t had a diagnostic yet but just wanted to know if anybody had any ideas what it could be.the car idles fine but when I rev there is a slight miss,the engine management light is not on.I haven’t had the car very long I noticed the other day there is a lot of soot on the exhaust again any ideas would be appreciated

Hi I think you will be better served waiting for the scan results as anything else would be guessing.
