Finners79
Good morning all. I’ve been trying to research how best to go about getting the best price for my 2000reg D2 A8 2.8 V6. I’ve owed it for 4-5yrs now and it’s absolutely fantastic car. But living in London and our great mayor extending the ulez is forcing me to sell it. a bit about the car, it’s 110% factory standard, yes even has the original cassette radio head unit. I had it serviced last year along with cambelt and water pump. Only done 400miles since then. Recently recalled by Audi to have airbag cylinders replaced as never had an accident. It’s got 160k on the clock, all electrics work and shifts gears smoothly in auto and on the steering wheel in manual mode. it’s the baby of the A8 range with the 2.8V6 none Quattro engine and fwd rather than 4wd. any thoughts on where would be the best place to advertise and what price I should be looking at? kind regards finners79
Magnet
Many thanks for being in touch Andrew. Trying to be helpful yet realistic, as I see it, regrettably there isn’t really anything outstanding about the car - such as low mileage, rare model etc.- so it is likely to only realise a run of the mill price, whatever that is, and as you say, you are seriously hampered by the non-ULEZ compliance. Where to advertise? eBay, Autotrader etc. Price? Start off on eBay with WBAC’s daft valuation, and see where it goes. Kind regards, Gareth.

Magnet
Sorry I can’t be more helpful Andy, but remain positive - there are vast areas of the country not yet subjected to ULEZ so there will be a market for it. I’ve amended the title for you, so members can see it is for sale. Good luck, Gareth.
