H132___ Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Hello guys, I’ve been looking at getting an Audi a5 (2008-12) for some time now. One thing I really love about the car is the LED DLR headlights (which is very uncommon for a car this old) I was just wondering about the process of switching out the regular halogen lights without DLR. I didn’t put much thought into it before because I thought it was just a quick switch I could do if I get a car without the desired headlights but it seems a little more complicated than that. Just wondering if anyone knows about where I could by an adaptor for it or if there’s a way to rewire it because I can’t seem to find too much online. The same would apply for taillights as I’d want aftermarket dynamic leds if I bought halogen ones. thank you for taking your time to read this :)
Steve Q Posted October 18 Posted October 18 To make this work ideally Yiu need to change the headlights the modules etc and then have it all wired in. An easier option would be to fit so e aftermarket ones and have them wired to a separate switch. 1
