RussF99
Hi, I have a 2022 A3 plug in hybrid. I have been charging with the provided cable to a 3 pin plug in the uk but the cable is now not working. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do about it? Interested to know whether you leave it out because it only has an IP55 rating. Thanks. Steve Q
Ha e you managed to confirm it's the cable and not a fault with the car?
Magnet
Not wanting to highjack the thread, but have you checked the fuse in the plug - plugs and fuses used for these obviously take an abnormally high current? If fuse tests OK, then test for continuity from the 3 pin plug end of the lead to the plug that plugs into the car. If you don’t have a test meter, or are uncertain about how to use it, it’s much safer to nip the cable around to an electrician to test it for you. Kind regards, Gareth. Steve Q
Gareth does raise a good point and to add, have you checked the plug socket in/on the house that you use?
