Elson Posted October 29 Posted October 29 (edited) hello, I have a problem with my Audi car 1.6 diesel 2010, it happens when the car is cold, at first when I turn it on, it turns off after 5 seconds, then when I turn it on again, it doesn't turn off. it's also consuming oil, I've only done 6000km and it took out the oil lamp. any idea what it could be? maybe it's a turbo? Steve Q Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be more than one issue. Could be a glow plug issue, injector, cam position sensor etc.
Elson Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Thanks for the feedback, I’ve made a diagnostic check and the only thing that appears to me is the auxiliary water pump, but sometimes it also emits white smoke, maybe it could be the injectors
Steve Q Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Could be. Could be an issue with the turbo. And it's leaking oil into the turbo. It can cause engine to run away. Look ar it on YouTube
