Redmole Posted Wednesday at 01:44 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:44 PM Since I have owned the car and after a full nights charge it used to do the 34 miles range over the past 2 days this has dropped to 19 miles. I use the audi charger is this a charger problem or a battery one the car is 21 plate
Magnet Posted Wednesday at 02:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:06 PM Welcome Brian, I would think this is more to do with the cold weather effect on the battery’s efficiency. Kind regards, Gareth.
Steve Q Posted Wednesday at 02:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:20 PM Definitely most likely the weather. But feel free to get a diagnostic check or battery test for peace of mind.
cliffcoggin Posted Wednesday at 05:35 PM Posted Wednesday at 05:35 PM Undoubtedly the cold weather. Not only do low temperatures reduce the battery range, they also slow down the charging. Are you sure the battery is at 100%, or whatever level you normally charge to, when you set off in the morning?
