TT Mark 2 wiring harness

Hi do i need to diss-connect the battery while changing the rear lights wiring harness - please.  What i need to do is cut each cable in turn and joint it to the new wiring harness

Hello Gary,

I would seriously suggest you disconnect the battery before doing any electrical work on the car. 
What method are you going to use to join the new cables to the old?

Yes of course the battery should be disconnected before cutting wires.

Are you intending to change the rear lights to a different type, such as tungsten to LED for example?
