Vipersq Posted Saturday at 06:56 PM Posted Saturday at 06:56 PM (edited) Hi, I am looking for replacements for the bolts on the front caliper carrier. The carrier has a "bolt"with threaded hole. to be honest i have no idea how they called. I snapped the bolt while replacing the disc, and I am stuck because I cannot find replacement anywhere. The only option I have found is to replace the entire carrier. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Edited Saturday at 07:20 PM by Vipersq
Steve Q Posted Saturday at 10:49 PM Posted Saturday at 10:49 PM Where have you tried so far? You could try eBay including international sellers, autodoc or AliExpress or Audi.
Vipersq Posted Saturday at 10:52 PM Author Posted Saturday at 10:52 PM hi, none of them offering those bolts. i think only way to deal with it is to buy whole carrier. I don't even know how those bolts are called/
Magnet Posted Sunday at 08:25 AM Posted Sunday at 08:25 AM Hello Chris, Apologies if you know this, but this application critical bolt will have to be replaced with a genuine part, or as a minimum, a bolt of the same tensile strength. Are you saying these are not available at the main dealer? Kind regards, Gareth.
