D3F0 Posted Thursday at 05:41 PM Posted Thursday at 05:41 PM Hi, friends. I have a problem with my Audi A4 B5 1.6 Avant. When I get into the car, before starting it, two lights come on: the EPC light and the car with a key icon. When I start driving, everything seems fine, but after an unpredictable amount of time, the car can stall on its own. When I try to restart it, the EPC light doesn’t come on, and I have to wait for a while before I can start it again. This happens every time, even if I turn the car off myself—for example, when I go to a store and come back, I have to wait until the EPC light comes on again. I’ve replaced the relay responsible for the fuel pump because it was burnt out, and I also replaced the crankshaft sensor. But nothing has helped, and I can’t find anything useful online. That’s why I’m reaching out to you—maybe someone has experienced something similar.
Steve Q Posted Thursday at 07:07 PM Posted Thursday at 07:07 PM I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. As well as getting the battery checked depending how old it is. 1
