WANTED: Audi A4 B6 / B7 Water Deflector Tray & Battery Cover

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

As per the title: i would be interested to know if anyone has, or may be able to point me in the direction of a water deflector tray and battery cover please.

I understand that these for the B7 model, also fit the B6 model: but i cannot replicate this advert in the B6 forum given i have already posted it here (rules).

I understand that the trays used on the convertible models are slightly different dimensions and therefore won't fit; my car is an Avant.

The Battery Cover is a separate item that clips in and out of place, and these are widely still available, even though most likely pattern part: so whilst it would be great to obtain the tray and battery cover together; if the cover is missing, that is still gettable.

There are plenty of LHD ones for sale, but no RHD.

If i understand correctly: these were a standard fitment on the B6, but then became an optional extra on the B7; hence why not many B7's have them fitted.

Anyway: any help gratefully received.

I am currently searching for one, but have had no joy to date.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards,

Kev.

Hello Kev,

Where have you searched so far - to avoid us suggesting where you have already tried?

Hello Gareth,

Thank you for your reply.

To date: i have tried the obvious suspects i guess: Audi, a couple of Audi parts suppliers, eBay etc (sorry: not very specific...lol).

Any targeted suggestions gratefully received Graham from those more knowledgeable, and i don't mind repetition in the least.

Many thanks.

Kind Regards,

Kev.

That’s Kev.

Try on-line breaker link websites, such as Partsfinder - there are more.
Perhaps you could let us know how you get on.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
