LucyB Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Hello all, I'm about to buy a 2020 A3 from a dealer who has good reviews. It's done 50 000 miles and has a FSH. It's November 2020 so the later model. It was leased. It has had one new telematics unit recently and a new selector switch but apart from that, nothing. When I go and drive it and look at it, what should I be checking/looming out for? Thanks very much. (It's a 1.5 TFSI 35 S line Sportback 5dr Petrol S Tronic Euro 6 (s/s) (150 ps)). I'll be back this afternoon. Edited 4 hours ago by LucyB
Steve Q Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Have a look to see if the gearbox has been serviced. Check to see if the cambelt and water pump has been changed. Make sure all electrical items work. Check buyers guides on YouTube.
LucyB Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Will doi and thankyou. Won't this have been done during one of the services if it's been serviced through Audi?

LucyB Posted 14 minutes ago Author Posted 14 minutes ago Thanks. Is it realistic when buying a used car that has been leased to be able to have evidence/paper trail or digital of all the work that has been done on it. They guy I'm buying it from said you don't get access to that until you've bought it (I think he meant to Audi's digital record). That strikes me as completely mad but then the world does seem to be completely mad. Thanks for your help here. It really is giving me some orientation.
