Exterior C post metal trim removal

Hi all, 

 

is there a trick to removing the external metal trim from the c post quarter light widow?  The replacement I have doesn’t look like it has any clips or bolt/ screw hole so I’m thinking it should slide back from the window with a bit of pressure but I can’t seem to get it to move.
