Matth69 Posted Sunday at 08:58 PM Posted Sunday at 08:58 PM Have a Q3 2.0 diesel 2022. The warning light appeared as shown in topic title. Have discussed with my Audi dealership and they have booked me for a service 4 weeks from writing this topic. Should I be concerned about the time? Should I be getting the oil changed sooner (how soon)? Any advice is much appreciated.
Steve Q Posted Sunday at 09:55 PM Posted Sunday at 09:55 PM What does the car say the engine oil level is? 1
Matth69 Posted Monday at 06:35 AM Author Posted Monday at 06:35 AM The oil seemed low, so I topped up. The message stopped and approx 4 days later it has returned. This is when I contacted Audi as my service is due in April. Don’t want to continue driving if it is going to create further issues.
cliffcoggin Posted Monday at 10:43 AM Posted Monday at 10:43 AM Electronic oil level sensors can be unreliable. Search the forum history for examples. Is there a dipstick you can read the true level from?

Might be worth placing a piece of cardboard underneath it for a few days to see.
Matth69 Posted Monday at 01:17 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:17 PM There are no signs of an oil leak. The dipstick level is OK. I'm thinking it is now just an alert reference the impending service due in April. I've since booked the service for 15/02/24, but was conscious that it is still 4 weeks away. I will keep an eye on the oil level every few days. Thanks for the feedback.

If dipstick is normal, but onboard computer saying it's low then most likely the level sensor is faulty.
