So far its fixed it self unless its because its dry and warmer now 🤷🏽♂️who knows, but noticed that the mmi screen is almost like blinking while on 🤦🏽the mystery continues.. So is the alarm fuse still out, I’ve read about a seperate battery to do with the alarm system that has proven to be problematic. I would double check the seating of any fuses to do with the mmi incase your screen flicker is down to a poor connection

Sid2020 Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Just a thought, you don’t have anything in this compartment on your car like a security pass for work or electrical Devi ce with nfc or magnets as it has been known to cause alarm issues as confuses the car into thinking you’ve left your key in the area. This is the designated area to place your key to start your car if the fob battery goes flat
sburt93 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 So finally had a diagnostics guy look at my car today the only thing he could really find that would link to the alarm going off is the fuel tank cap being faulty even though it still works fine at the current time so hes completely removed the alarm system from the coding to stop it so that seems to of been the culprit on this occasion
