0337_v Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Hi All, New to this forum as I have been having a problem with my 2010 A3, 2.0 petrol, as stated in the title when I go tot start the car there are no lights what so ever on the cluster (no battery, airbag lights etc) and once I turn to start it it turns over starts and then dies straight away. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine is there anything else I should be checking before digging in deep and taking it to a garage. Thanks in advance for all responce regarding this issue and if the cluster needs to be sent away who is the most reliable company to send to. Thanks again. Sorry forgot to mention the radio is working.
Steve Q Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Sounds like an issue with the instrument cluster and the imobiliser built within it. My advice is to get the cluster tested and repaired
0337_v Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 I have heard ECU testing a lot on this forum so this make me think they are a reputable company, any others i should consider that other embers have used.
0337_v Posted February 19 Author Posted February 19 Hi all sent the cluster to ECU testing and got a call from them stating that there is nothing wrong with the cluster, so now am stuck think is there anything else I can check, eg power to cluster if so what wires and can I use a test lamp
cliffcoggin Posted February 19 Posted February 19 That's unfortunate. I can't make any other suggestion except to engage an auto electrician.
