EdwardJ7 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 2025 Q7 6Cyl, currently with 850 miles. Since first week, maybe once every 2 weeks, press brake pedal and push starter button, but no response. No noise. Dash lights up but no crank, no start. Then will start after 15 minutes sometimes, next day other times. Dealer says no error codes and can’t replicate the problem. Am now afraid to drive. Has anyone experienced this problem? And more importantly, has anyone had it fixed?
cliffcoggin Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago You are legally entitled to reject defective goods so take it back to the dealer and demand a refund.
cliffcoggin Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Edward. I have just noticed you are in the USA where the legal situation will be rather different to Britain. Neverthless I doubt that the onus is on you to diagnose defects in a new car. If the car is defective there must surely be a way for you to reject it.
