Help with rear reverse sensors

Hi all, 

Hoping someone can help. I’ve just bought an A3 S line sport back 1.4 TFSI and I love it. The car has rear parking sensors but when I put the car in reverse nothing comes up on the MMI and I can’t find anything in the settings either. 

I’ve seen that someone with a VCDS might be able to code it for me but no idea where to start in looking. I’m in Bristol.
 

any advice would be massively appreciated.

Hi nothing will come up on the MMI, just get somebody to walk across the back of the car and the buzzer should sound.
