Hi I have had my q2 since last july it had 20k miles on so I don’t think it’s typical broken wires where doors open close, the car shows no physical signs of any faults the doors work flawlessly but every time I scan it with vcds I get both passenger doors in red but it shows no fault codes when I click on the front door and two on the rear. The codes do clear but they always seem to be back the next time I have scanned car some times it can be weeks and no code sometimes a few days but they always return.
Iv also had a termial 30 low voltage code twice since owning it with no warning lights,

I did put a new battery on the car as it had been sitting not being used for a fair few months prior to me getting it, to my horror there was rat droppings around the battery tray and hairs all over off them but I have searched and can’t find any chewing on any of the loom.

I have included pictures of the codes Iv been getting, the voltage one has been two times in about 3.5k miles iv done since I got it. And the doors I know are gonna have them codes when I next scan it. the car has never showed a single sign of any issues if I hadn’t had vcds and checking soot level in dpf Id be none of the wiser.

Any advice on where to look to sort these intermittent codes would be greatly appreciated

thanks Micky

Did you code the new battery to the car? That alone may be enough to explain the fault codes.

Hi thanks for your response, yeah I did code the battery, the codes for the doors have been coming back since I got the car and I think I may have got the terminal 30 low code once before and once after. I only recently  changed the battery as the one on was the factory one there wasn’t anything wrong with the battery.
