WOULD MY ENGINE MANAGMENT LIGHT COME ON IF THE WARNING THAT BRAKE PAD WEAR LIMIT HAS BEEN REACHED OR IS IT LIKELY TO BE ANOTHER FAULT-2019 Q5 SLINE 40

hi Bill,no the eml wont come on for brake pads but you should get another light on that indicates the pads are low,if your eml is on id say the problem is not brake related.Greg

Thanks Greg for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated.

I have taken the car for a plug in and as you say it is something else, namly something to do with the glow plugs. so its going in for the new pads and to sort this out next week,hopfully not to expensive.
