Mysto Posted March 19 Posted March 19 hello I have a problem with Audi A3 8p 2.0 TDI 170hp 2009. The car started working for 1 minute on idle and turned off, it won't start again. The starter cranks the engine without a problem. Diagnostics does not show any errors. It seems as if there is a delay in the fuel system, the fuel pump in the tank only works when the starter is turned. Maybe you have an idea where to start looking for the problem?
Steve Q Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Hasn't it got to pumps? The one in the tank and the high pressure fuel pump. I'd like to think there'd be a code for this. Could it be an imobiliser issue?

But car was started and engine was running about 5 min and I quickly checked with vcds fuel pressure and it was good . Now car starts and runs but it looks still not good.

When running what's the engine doing? Ie rough idling, stuttering etc.
