Jason A3 TDI Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Drivers seat is starting to fray from getting in and out of the car. Is it possible to get a new seat cover to match these.
cliffcoggin Posted March 23 Posted March 23 If you want an original Audi seat better ask Audi. Other than that an internet search showed many companies making seat covers ranging from loose slip over types to custom made. Bear in mind that your old upholstery may have faded so it will be difficult to match the colour.
Jason A3 TDI Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Thanks Cliff. I've left a request on a breakers aggregation site, to see if anything turns up. I'll try Audi if nothing comes from that. The passenger seat and back seats have hardly been sat on so don't want to replace them all if I don't have to.
Magnet Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Hello Jason, So really it’s only the drive seat squab you need, and not the whole seat. Having said that, it’s likely that the cover can be swopped from a same style passenger seat. Kind regards, Gareth.
Kev-P Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Can you not just take it to an upholsterer, they will be able to repair the affected area and most likely match the current colour.
enc Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Another option might be to replace the seat with one from eBay. Plenty of seats/interiors pop up on there. Might be tricky finding something in better condition than yours with that blue insert though!? It could be an opportunity to upgrade to leather / part leather if that floats your boat
Jason A3 TDI Posted March 25 Author Posted March 25 Thanks all. It's a shame to throw out what looks like almost perfect back and passenger seats, but I think leather may be the best option.

Once you have picked up and fitted the replacements, bung em on eBay Or gumtree. Get some of the money back for what you spent on A leather interior. the seats you have look like “sports” seats. Possibly somebody is looking to upgrade to those 1
