Coleman Posted Monday at 08:59 PM Posted Monday at 08:59 PM (edited) My Audi A5 2.0 Tdi Quattro has a fault with the oil system in the Mechatronics for gearbox, Requires removal and repair for oil pressure loss in high pressure filter on mechatronic valve body this is what Audi dealer has told me after I had my car taken there after it broke down . The car is just over 4 years old (out of warranty 馃檲) it鈥檚 got full Audi service history 聽and has only done 31k聽 Audi customer services as told me (After I argued it should not do this) offered me 拢523 towards my 拢2200 bill to fix it . Do people on here think I,m been unreasonable to think Audi uk should stump up all of it or very near surely the gearbox should be having these issues at 31k . Edited Monday at 09:00 PM by Coleman
spartacus 68 Posted Monday at 10:48 PM Posted Monday at 10:48 PM Absolutely. 4 years old with full Audi history and just 31k miles. Take it up with Audi UK, I would be looking at goodwill fix. I know that some dealers have their own issues with mechatronics on VW platform, but I鈥檓 sure it鈥檚 there with Audi too.
