Hi, I have a 2017 A3 Quattro saloon, which has the DSG box, but I have a warning light on the dash that tells me Gearbox malfunction: You can keep on driving in D until engine off. The car drives as it always has.. I have had it into an independent Audi specialist who has told me there is an issue with the hydraulic pump in the gearbox and it should be replaced for £1000, however, I was told it may not resolve the issue and could require a new gearbox for £8000!! The car isn't worth much more than that. Can anyone shed any light on any other potential remedies, or is this my only option, as my car is worth nothing with this issue. Here's hoping, many thanks, Hawkeye66.
